The greatest Mothers/Grandmothers we could ask for
The first child is a breeze. Take a few days off work, and everything is good.
Staying at the hospital for 4 days is much harder with a four year old at home.
Bobbie Jo's mom Sharon offered to stay at our house the entire time we were at the hospital. From Thursday afternoon until Monday afternoon she 'held down the fort', and allowed us to concentrate on Baby Lily.
While we were in the hospital, Sharon, Max, and my mom (Camille) were quite busy; grocery shopping, cleaning, bathing, visiting the hospital, and even tying balloons on the mailbox. We would have been so stressed if it weren't for their help.
Thank you so much, we can't express how much we appreciate it!

Here's how it happened
It was around 5am when we finally got settled in the room after Lily was born. I had grand plans of fully updating the blog, and sending emails to everyone I knew; but my exhaustion got the best of me. I made a quick post on the blog, put a photo on facebook, and fell asleep.
Rewind 6 hours.
Bobbie Jo was much more anxious than the last time, but the surgery went well. I was in the operating room again, and had the same emotional response that I did with Max. It was awesome, and I was immediately in love. It seemed to take quite awhile for the doctors to "process" her. I waited impatiently. Mommy's drugs wore off.
Once Bobbie Jo was stapled back together, and Lily was tagged and inventoried, the three of us were taken to recovery where we got to spend some time with our new little girl.
It was an exhausting night for the three of us. We'll be in the hospital until Monday and are looking forward to getting to know Lily better. And Bobbie Jo deserves some well earned rest.

Max & Lily (Lily & Max)
He'd waited months, and today Max finally got to meet his baby sister. He asked to hold her (he did great), told her that he loved her, and told us that she was 'cute'. He must have been curious because at one point he smelled her feet (which must have smelled fine).
Our primary desire for another child was always to give Max a sibling. Watching Max meet his little sister was even more touching than I had imagined.
Lily, you have no idea what an incredible Big Brother you have. You'll see.....

How do you spell relief?

Contractions started to get pretty strong. Bobbie Jo got her epidural at 4:45 and now everything is much better.
We expect to be waiting for quite a few hours, but it looks like we'll just let this little girl come the rest of the way out on her own.
